I-695 Repairs To Close Lanes in Towson

The State Highway Administration will close lanes on Interstate 695 in Towson from Sunday night until Monday morning while crews complete repairs.

The crews will be out on the two left lanes between the York Road and Dulaney Valley Road exits from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, according to the release. The inner loop will close at 9 p.m. Sunday and both lanes will be closed by 10 p.m.

The work is intended to mill out the bumps to improve ride quality on the highway, the release states. Time permitting, crews will repair the outer loop after completing the inner loops. Lane closures on the outer loop would begin after midnight.

All lanes will be open by 5 a.m. Monday.
