Justin Bieber Got His Dancing Shoes on in Towson
The teen sensation who rocked the Maryland State Fair dropped by a Towson Town Center shoe store before his sellout show.
While his legions of adoring fans began to line up for his Sunday night show in Timonium, Justin Bieber was cooling his size 7 heels a few miles down the road in Towson.
The 16-year-old Canadian pop superstar dropped by Vans in Towson Town Center at about 1:30 p.m. on Sunday to pick up a new pair of shoes ahead of his evening performance at the Maryland State Fair.
Mandy Peterson, a clerk at the store, was one of the people who waited on him. She said Bieber was trying hard to be incognito.

"He didn't want too many people to know he was here," she said. "He wasn't very talkative."
Bieber picked out the shoes, which his manager bought. Peterson has little to show for her brush with celebrity, however.

"He wouldn't do pictures, he wouldn't sign anything. He was definitely trying to stay low-key," she said.
Though she texted her younger sister, a Bieber fan, immediately afterwards, she and other employees didn't take pictures or get autographs.
"We can't have our customers feeling uncomfortable at our store, you know?" Peterson said, smiling.
