Following a request from Councilman David Marks' office, the Department of Public Works is temporarily stopping construction activity on Kenilworth Drive.
"This is the busiest time of the year along this corridor due to shopping at places like Kenilworth Drive, and the delay will hopefully minimize traffic back-ups," Marks wrote in an email.
Construction will resume Jan. 1.
