TOWSON, MD — Towson High School went on a brief lockout Wednesday morning because of a "community incident," the principal said.

The Baltimore County Police Department told Patch there was a robbery nearby on Aigburth Road, which forms the northern border of the Towson High campus.

"During a lockout, no one is allowed to enter or leave the building without an administrator’s approval.  Students and staff can move about the building and instruction continues as normal," Towson High Principal Kimberly Culbertson said in a community letter that Patch obtained.
