Man Allegedly Attempts To Steal His Vehicle From Towing Company

An accused co-conspirator reportedly rammed his car into a gate at Pollard's Towing.

Two men were arrested after an attempt to steal a vehicle that had been seized by Pollard's Towing.

John Kevin James, 22, of the 100 block of Chapletowne Circle and Devin Maurice Johnson, 21, of the 4000 block of Mispillion Road were arrested on charges of burglary Saturday, according to a Baltimore County Police Department report.

Police said Johnson pulled his vehicle into Pollard's, striking a gate and causing damage to it. James then alledgedly exited Johnson's vehicle, hopped over a fence and got into his vehicle, which was towed for illegal parking.

When police arrived at the scene, James allegedly reversed his vehicle quickly and hit the nearby Richard's Auto Body and destroyed an air conditioning unit, according to the report.

Both men were arrested at the scene.
