Brown said police were called Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported shots fired at a home in the 2100 block of Larkhall Road in Dundalk.

The attorney general said officers saw a man shortly after their arrival standing at a second-floor window.

Multiple officers indicated he was armed, a press release said.

Officers fired their service weapons, striking the man, Brown said. Police said six officers fired shots.

A tactical team from Baltimore County police responded and established a barricade, the attorney general said.

Brown said officers entered the home about two hours after the shooting.

The man was found on the first floor suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and medics pronounced him dead on the scene, the release said.

Investigators said they found two guns inside the home near the window where police initially saw the man. No officers were hurt in the encounter.

The officers were all wearing body cameras that recorded the incident, the attorney general said.

The footage from a police-involved death is usually released within 20 business days of the encounter.
