Man Who Killed Pregnant Girlfriend, Her Daughter To Be Sentenced Wednesday

A man who pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the June 2011 shooting deaths of his girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter will be sentenced Wednesday.
Brian Eggleston, a Parkville resident, admitted to the murders on Nov. 26, 2012, according to a news release from Baltimore County's state's attorney's office. He will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. in Circuit County.
Police discovered the bodies of Alicia Avery, 25, and her daughter Darry'el Parker on June 26, 2011 in a room at Welcome Inn, 8729 Loch Bend Drive. Both suffered gun shot wounds to the head.

Charging documents showed that the couple had a history of arguments.

Baltimore City Police had placed Avery at the Welcome Inn because she was in the witness protection program in connection with an unrelated case.
