Marks Appoints Scott Jenkins to Planning Board

The Perry Hall resident joins the 15-member panel.

A Perry Hall executive and realtor will join the Baltimore County Planning Board, announced Wednesday.

, the chief financial officer for BFPE International in Hanover and a realtor with Keller Williams in Timonium, will join the 15-member board, which advises the county on zoning and planning issues.

The board also makes recommendations on capital planning, infrastructure and regulations.

Each councilmember can make one appointment. The other eight members, including the chairperson and vice chairperson, are nominated by the county executive.

Jenkins, a 1997 Loyola graduate, is a past president of the and has also held leadership positions at the St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Loch Raven and Horizon Church in Towson.

“Since my election, I have appointed qualified men and women of all backgrounds to county boards and commissions, and I am pleased to appoint Scott Jenkins to this critically important position,” Marks said in an email statement. “As a member of the planning board, Mr. Jenkins will help review the numerous rezoning issues that have been raised in the Fifth District to ensure we have the right level of development in the future.”
