Officials say crime is down countywide, weather slowly clears up, Senior Expo hits Timonium

  • On Tuesday, Baltimore County officials celebrated a drop in crime in the first six months of 2010 compared to the same period last year. For Towson, though, not a whole lot is really different. We found that area crime statistics changed only slightly, but still placed the neighborhood squarely in the middle of the road compared to other precincts.
  • Sister Helen Prejean spoke Tuesday night at Goucher College. We have video. Go check it out!
  • The Senior Expo continues for a second day in Timonium. Our friends at Timonium Patch have the story.
  • R&B star Mary J. Blige will be at the Towson Macy's Wednesday evening for a meet-and-greet to promote her new line of sunglasses.
  • Accuweather reports we may see a passing shower or two on Wednesday, but the current gloomy weather is expected to be largely behind us on Thursday. Finally.
