Police Investigate Towson Area Shooting

An unidentified man is taken to an area hospital after being shot multiple times.

UPDATED (10:11 p.m.)—Baltimore County police are investigating the Sunday night shooting of a man in the Towson area.

A resident of the 7000 block of Lachlan Circle called police shortly before 7 p.m. to report that a man suffering from a gunshot wound was outside the caller's home. Police and fire crews found the man, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement issued by Cpl. Cathy Batton, a police spokeswoman.

The unidentified man was taken to the hospital for what was described as life-threatening injuries, according to Batton.
