A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. Baltimore County police are asking for help in finding an 81-year-old Towson man who has been missing since Wednesday morning. Roger Henry Mackubin, 81, of the unit block of Parliament Court has not been seen since around 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to police. Mackubin is 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown Ralph Lauren jacket, and he is driving a tan 2009 Buick Park Avenue with Maryland license plate 32142CB. If you have any information about Mackubin's whereabouts, call the Towson police precinct at 410-887-2361.
