Ready To Sail? AAA and Ama Waterways Host "Christmas In July"
Register Today to Attend July 24th Event at Sheraton Baltimore North

TOWSON, MD (July 14, 2025) – Cruise lines continue to experience strong demand with Americans eager to set sail. In fact, cruising is at an all-time high. AAA’s cruise forecast projects 19 million Americans are going on ocean cruises this year, marking the third straight year of record-setting passenger volume. Smaller, more intimate ships, like river cruises, are also gaining popularity, as they offer personalized itineraries and port-centric experiences.
AAA and AMA Waterways are hosting an interactive evening, celebrating "Christmas in July.” Attendees will experience a festive way to explore European Christmas Markets by river cruising, specifically during the Christmas markets season. Travel advisors from AAA’s Westminster, Timonium, and Abingdon Stores will be on hand to answer questions and assist with travel bookings.
This free, interactive event will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 7:00-8:00 p.m., at the Sheraton Baltimore North, 903 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, MD 21204. AAA members, as well as non-members are welcome.

“With river cruising, you unpack once and dock in the heart of each destination you visit in ways you can’t on an ocean cruise,” says Ragina Cooper Ali, spokesperson for AAA in Maryland and Washington, DC. “With more time to explore, river cruising allows travelers to delve deeper into local culture and offers a more, personalized experience.”
