Restaurant In Towson Is Closing
Cafe Troia on Allegheny Avenue is closing after 35 years, and a new restaurant will take its place.

TOWSON, MD — A longtime Towson restaurant is closing its doors for good.
Cafe Troia will shutter Sept. 25, the restaurant announced on Facebook.
The owners of the Italian eatery said the decision came "with mixed emotions" as one retires and another proceeds to other ventures.

Diners seeking similar cuisine should visit Grano Pasta Bar in Hampden, they said, noting owner Gina Troia offers some of the same recipes "and the same standard of quality and authenticity."

Banditos will take the place of Cafe Troia on Allegheny Avenue in Towson, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
The restaurant specializing in Mexican street food also has locations in Federal Hill and The Avenue at White Marsh.
