Restaurant joins Gino's at Maryland Executive Park

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is opening its first location in Towson this summer.

The new restaurant will be at Maryland Executive Park, near the intersection of Joppa and LaSalle roads, developer St. John Properties announced in a news release Wednesday.

The national chain's Towson location will be its first in Baltimore County. Other Maryland locations include Pratt Street (next to the Power Plant) and Arundel Mills.

The chain serves made-to-order toasted sandwiches, milkshakes, soups and cookies.

The new location will be next door to , which opened last summer. The restaurants are part of an effort by St. John to revitalize the executive park with 14,000 square feet of space turned from offices to retail.

“The first question a potential tenant asks is ‘where can I eat lunch,'" Jerry Wit, senior vice president of marketing for St. John Properties, said in a statement. "With this latest restaurant addition, we have three great answers to that inquiry.”
