A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. <a href="http://www.potbelly.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Potbelly Sandwich Shop</a> is opening its first location in Towson this summer. The new restaurant will be at Maryland Executive Park, near the intersection of Joppa and LaSalle roads, developer <a href="http://www.sjpi.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">St. John Properties</a> announced in a news release Wednesday. The national chain's Towson location will be its first in Baltimore County. Other Maryland locations include Pratt Street (next to the Power Plant) and Arundel Mills. The chain serves made-to-order toasted sandwiches, milkshakes, soups and cookies. The new location will be next door to , which opened last summer. The restaurants are part of an effort by St. John to revitalize the executive park with 14,000 square feet of space turned from offices to retail. "The first question a potential tenant asks is 'where can I eat lunch,'" Jerry Wit, senior vice president of marketing for St. John Properties, said in a statement. "With this latest restaurant addition, we have three great answers to that inquiry."
