Sept. 13 Police Blotter

A sampling of area crimes from Baltimore County police reports

Sept. 7—At around 9:20 p.m., in the 1600 block of East Joppa Road, a black male in his 30s entered a coffee shop, ordered a coffee, then drew a black semi-automatic handgun from his waistband, ordering the clerk to get on the floor. The suspect took money from the register and fled.

Sept. 7—Between 2 and 2:30 p.m., an unknown suspect broke into the rear door and stole property from an apartment in the Towson Place apartments in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace.

Sept. 7—In the 200 block of Ware Avenue, a victim spotted the suspect climbing into his bedroom. The suspect fled across the roof and was not apprehended, but police are looking for a black male in his 30's and approximately six feet tall. At the crime, he was wearing a white dress shirt and tie.

Sept. 9—In the 1000 block of Halstead Road, an unknown suspect entered a home through a sliding door and stole property.

Sept. 12—At 7:45 p.m., in the 200 block of East Joppa Road, two suspects approached the victims, who were doing construction work.  The first suspect displayed a handgun; the second suspect displayed a knife.  The suspects demanded property from the victims, which they received. The suspects are two black males believed to be between the ages of 20 and 30. One is 6'0" and of medium build and the other is 5'8" and of large build.
