Towson Sexual Assault Suspect Faces Additional Charges

Ricky Marion Bostic, 44, is accused of several local burglaries.

(Update 12:40 p.m.)—A Towson man accused of two sexual assaults is facing more charges for burglaries.

Ricky Marion Bostic, 44, of the 200 block of Towsontown Court, was charged after a search of his home, following a July 19 arrest, uncovered property belonging to additional burglary victims, Baltimore County police announced.

A Nintendo Wii and accessories that were stolen from a home in the unit block of East Burke Avenue between May 31 and June 9 were recovered at Bostic's home, police said. A laptop stolen from a home in the 200 block of Towsonton Boulevard on March 14 was allegedly also found.

The arrest occured after a 38-year-old woman discovered a man trying to open a sliding glass door at her home in the 100 block of Versailles Circle, police said. She reportedly yelled for her boyfriend and the man fled. Police said the pair provided a suspect description, and Bostic was later arrested on Towsontown Boulevard.

Police said Bostic also matched the description of a suspect responsible for a May 24 sexual assault in the unit block of York Road, where a woman awoke to a find a man touching her. She reportedly yelled and the man fled.

Forensic evidence indicated that the woman's roommate had been sexually assaulted but she could not tell detectives what happened, police said in a statement.

Bostic allegedly commited another sexual offense less than a month later.

On June 12, a woman found an unknown man in her bed at her apartment in the 8000 block of York Road, police said. She had fallen asleep because she wasn't feeling well.

The woman told detectives she believed she was sexually assaulted. Her laptop and her roommate's Xbox game system were also reportedly stolen, according to police.

Bostic was charged with first-degree burglary and a first-degree sex offense in that case.

He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.
