Police said they handled a shooting Saturday in Towson.

TOWSON, MD — Police say they are investigating an officer-involved shooting Saturday night in Towson.
The Baltimore County Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the area, police said before 9:30 p.m.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Virginia Avenue near Cinemark movie theater, according to WBFF.
Media members were asked to stage in the 300 block of Maryland Avenue for updates. After 10:20 p.m., authorities moved the location to the 200 block of East Joppa Road.
