Stabbing Outside Mall Prompts Arrest: Baltimore County Police

A domestic stabbing outside a Baltimore County mall prompted an arrest, police said. The 32-year-old female victim is in critical condition.

TOWSON, MD — Police on Tuesday identified the man accused of a domestic stabbing that happened this weekend outside the Towson Town Center.

Officers identified the suspect as Anthony Bryant Scott Jr., 33, of Pikesville.

Judge Susan Zellweger on Monday ordered Scott to be held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center, online court records show.

Authorities said the victim, a 32-year-old woman, remains in critical but stable condition.

The Baltimore County Police Department said it was called to the Towson Town Center parking lot Saturday around 11 a.m. An MTA officer was the first on the scene.

The victim suffered multiple injuries to her upper body and was taken to a hospital, officers said.

Authorities said the suspect complied with orders and was arrested.

Scott's case file says he is charged with attempted first-degree murder (Felony), attempted second-degree murder (Felony), first-degree assault (Felony) and several misdemeanors.
