UPDATED: State Police Pursuit Results In Towson Accident
A collision involving multiple vehicles occurred near the intersection of Goucher Boulevard and Prince Road Thursday afternoon.

UPDATE (4:40 p.m.) — Three people were transported to area hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries following a short police pursuit and resulting accident Thursday afternoon.
A driver failed to stop when being pulled over by Maryland State Trooper near the intersection of Fairmount Avenue and Goucher Boulevard shortly after 2 p.m. Feb. 14, according to Maryland State Police spokesman Sgt. Marc Black.
The driver continued to the intersection of Goucher Boulevard and Prince Road where the driver ran a red light and struck a second vehicle, he said. The collision lead the vehicle to strike a third vehicle.

Traffic charges are pending against the individual who ran from police, but that person has not yet been arrested, Black said.

Maryland State Police officials have confirmed that an accident in Towson Thursday afternoon resulted from a police pursuit in the area.
Details are scant, but the accident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Goucher Boulevard and Prince Road.
Sergeant Marc Black, a Maryland State Police spokesman, confirmed that there was a police pursuit in the area and that Maryland State Police are handling the crash scene.
"A supervisor and officers are on the way, and we'll make more information available as it becomes available to us," he said.
On the Facebook page for Baltimore County Breaking News, users are commenting that some roads in the area may be closed.
