Stoneleigh Resident Reappointed to Landmarks Board

Councilman David Marks appointed Carol Allen, former president of Historic Towson.

County Councilman David Marks reappointed a Stoneleigh resident to the Baltimore County Landmarks Preservation Commission, Marks announced in an email Monday.

Carol Allen, a longtime commission member, is in line to chair the 15-seat volunteer board in 2012. Her new term will run through June 2015.

Allen is the former president of now-defunct Historic Towson Inc., which advocated on behalf of preservation efforts in the Towson area.
