Woman's Suspicious Death Under Investigation In Sparks Glencoe: Police
A 59-year-old woman's suspicious death is under investigation in Baltimore County. She'll be remembered for her kindness and artistic skill.

SPARKS GLENCOE, MD — A suspicious death investigation is underway after police said they found a woman dead in a Sparks Glencoe home this week.
Officers said they found her Monday around 8:15 a.m. during a "non-urgent welfare check" at a home in the unit block of English Run Circle.
Authorities on Tuesday identified the woman as Susan Cope, 59.

Cope's obituary said she graduated from Centennial High School in 1983 and West Virginia University in 1987.
"She will be remembered for her loving personality, kindness, and artistic abilities," her obituary said.

Detectives said they are investigating the circumstances of her death.
The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-887-INFO (410-887-4636). Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.
The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers.
