Sweetgreen Releases Towson Grand Opening Date
A restaurant on Circle East in Towson is opening in early April. Before then, people can sign up to get a sneak peek.
TOWSON, MD — A new eatery is opening at Circle East in Towson.
Sweetgreen will open Tuesday, April 5.
The restaurant aims to provide healthy food at scale.

On the menu are bowls and salads. Patrons can customize their bases with items like lettuce, rice or quinoa and add toppings from chickpeas to sunflower seeds to spicy broccoli before finishing off their selections with a dressing.
Three Georgetown students founded the first Sweetgreen in 2007 in Washington, D.C., in an effort to offer fresh food in a business model committed to sustainability.

Sweetgreen will be at 1 East Joppa Road in Circle East, a development that also includes Shake Shack, Ethan Allen, World of Beer, Urban Outfitters and others.
