Tickets Still Available for Carrie Fisher Talk

Crowds more likely for a "Star Wars" premiere turned out this morning to pick up tickets to Carrie Fisher's appearance at the Towson library.

If you want to grab tickets to see Carrie Fisher at the , the Force may still be with you.

As of 11:30 a.m., about 50 tickets were still available for  The Towson Room, where Fisher will be speaking, seats about 150.

Fisher, the actress and screenwriter best known for her iconic role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars saga, is in Baltimore for a production of her one-woman show, Wishful Drinking, at the Hippodrome.

Katie McCulloh, a library staffer distributing the tickets, said about 50 people were lined up outside the library and on the bridge from the nearby garage.

"I didn't know what to expect, so I was pleased to see as many show up," McCulloh said.

Tickets are first-come, first-served and once they're gone, they're gone. Jedi mind tricks will not help you get in on Feb. 2. You can pick up your tickets today either from McCulloh in the library's rotunda (inside the York Road entrance) or at the library's information desk.
