Recently, the arts collective used space at Towson Commons to host a winter craft sale and briefly borrowed gallery space on the corner of York Road and Pennsylvania Avenue that art department wasn't immediately using. Truaxthat a move was in the works. The new setting, Truax said, will be more than a change of scenery.

"We'll have handicap accessibility, whch opens us up for operating grants, which will allow us to have some sort of paid administrator," he said. "We're going to have a lot of visibility. Besides gallery shows, the Towson Arts Collective also hosts classes and outdoor events, like the twice-annual Arts in the Park at .

Truax is asking for donations to help with the move. Check out the collective's website for more information.
