Towson Crime: Frames Stolen from Pearle Vision

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Towson

Goucher Boulevard, 800 block. Between 5 p.m., Jan. 11 and 10:31 a.m., Jan. 12. Approximately 1,500 lens frames were stolen from , and the wires on the store's alarm system were cut.

Bosley Avenue, 700 block. Between 6:02 p.m. and 7 p.m., Jan. 12. A  inmate broke ceiling tiles and climbed above the tiles in an escape attempt. Three officers were assaulted while apprehending the prisoner, who was identified as Shan Anthony Braxton, 30, of the unit block of Pine Tree Court in Pikesville.

Stoneleigh

Litchfield Road, 800 block. Between 9:35 a.m. and 5:05 p.m., Jan. 12. Someone entered the back door of a home using a key hidden above the door and removed $200 in change and a bag valued at $50.

Loch Raven

East Joppa Road, 1700 block. Between 6:30 p.m., Jan. 10 and 8:30 a.m., Jan. 11. At Sideways Motor Sports, an air-conditioning unit was removed.

East Joppa Road, 1700 block. Between 6:58 p.m., Jan. 10 and 9:11 a.m., Jan. 12. Someone entered Goodwill and urinated on clothing on Jan. 10. Two days later, racial slurs were found carved on a wooden desk. Police believe the same person is responsible in both incidents.

Yorktown

York Road, 7300 block. Between 9:30 p.m., Jan. 12 and 5:20 a.m., Jan. 13. At , someone entered through unlocked doors and spent the night. The person was removed by a church staffer in the morning, but he left his belongings behind.

Towson Woods Apartments

Witherwood Court, unit block. Between 8 a.m., Jan. 14 and 7 p.m., Jan. 15. An Xbox 360, 30-inch television, iPod, watch and cash were stolen from an apartment. Police believe the burglar used unlocked fire escape stairs, broke a bedroom window, then exited through a patio door.
