Towson Crime: Man Assaulted, Robbed Outside Apartment Complex

University Village

Campus View Drive, unknown block, between 2:10 a.m. and 2:22 a.m. Dec. 18. Five or six people approached and attacked a male victim, kicking and punching him. The attackers broke his right ankle and took $40 from his back pocket.

Loch Bend Drive, 8700 block, 6 a.m. Dec. 18. A man approached the victim and displayed a black handgun. The man then ordered the victim to hand over his cell phone and money. The robber fled with the cell phone and $100 cash.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 8400 block,  9:15 p.m. Dec. 16. A police officer went to examine a vacant apartment with a history of burglaries. The officer saw people inside who then fled. Two juveniles were found and arrested.

Glen Keith Boulevard, 1700 block, 6:18 p.m. Dec. 14. Someone entered an unlocked laundry room and used a shovel to pry off a coin box. Police arrested and charged a juvenile.

Hillendale

Clearwood Road, 1500 block, between 7 a.m. and noon Dec. 14. A TV, PlayStation and camera were stolen from a second-floor bedroom. Police found no signs of forced entry.
