Towson Crime: Man Holds Up Massage Center

Towson

East Joppa Road, 1400 block. 6 p.m. Jan. 8. A man carrying a black handgun entered Jade Heart Health. He demanded money and took $50 in cash from a drawer, police said. He fled westbound in a white van or SUV with the Maryland license plate 009MZ65.

Fellowship Forest

Hillen Road and Lake Avenue. Between 5:30 p.m. and 5:55 p.m. Jan. 7. A man pushed another man from behind and then hit him in the face with an unknown object. The robber then went through the man's pockets and removed a black bifold wallet containing $35, police said.

Anneslie

York Road, 6300 block. Between 10:49 p.m. Jan. 7 and 12:25 a.m. Jan. 8. Someone entered Little Caesars through an unlocked rear door and stole an unknown amount of cash from a safe, police said.

Hillendale

Morrislea Court, unit block. 6:59 p.m. Jan. 6. Someone fired five shots, which struck a car. The shooter then fled in a white car and struck another car, police said. Police recovered five 9-millimeter shell casings.

Taylor Avenue, 1700 block. Between 7 p.m. Jan. 7 and 3 p.m. Jan. 8. Someone broke the rear window of Tandoor restaurant, destroyed property and removed a surveillance system, police said.

Astro Court and Cloister Road. Between 2 p.m. and 2:26 p.m. Jan. 8. Someone flagged down a taxi at Harford and Hamilton roads. Upon arriving at Astro Court, the passenger pulled a knife on the driver and demanded money. He did not receive any money, then fled toward Venus Court. A juvenile returned to Venus Court about an hour after the 911 call and was arrested, police said.

Loch Raven

Mussula Road, 1600 block. Between 4:30 p.m. Jan. 5 and 5:05 p.m. Jan. 6. Someone kicked in a rear door. Nothing was reported taken.

Greenway Road, 8400 block. Between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Jan. 7. Someone removed a 24-inch television and $1,000 in cash from a residence. Police said they are unsure how the burglar made entry.

Fairways at Towson

Lachlan Circle, 6900 block. Between 7:45 a.m. and 6:53 p.m. Jan. 5. Someone pried open a front door and removed an Xbox, police said.

Towson Woods Apartments

Witherwood Court, unit block. Between noon Dec. 30 and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 2. A PlayStation 3, two Xbox 360 consoles, sunglasses, three watches, cash and a metal safe were stolen while three residents were away for the holidays.

Towson Manor Village

Virginia and Susquehanna avenues. 4:45 p.m. Jan. 6. Someone was approached by two juveniles at . They asked for his iPod. One grabbed the device by the headphone cord and fled. One juvenile was arrested, police said.
