Towson Crime: Robber Drags Woman Off Porch, Tries To Steal Purse

Willow Oak Road, 8500 block. 10 p.m. Jan. 7. A robber ran up behind a woman on her porch and demanded her purse. When she refused, the robber began to attack her, dragged her off the porch, down the steps and onto the sidewalk. The woman screamed for help and neighbors came out. The robber ran off.
Beaverbank Circle, 900 block. Between Jan. 11 and Jan. 12. A 1999 Nissan Sentra with the license plate 9FDP01 was stolen.
Astro Court, unit block. Between 4 p.m. Jan. 10 and 5:40 p.m. Jan. 12. A televison was found damaged at a residence, which was ransacked.

Putty Hill Avenue, 1200 block. 5:13 a.m. Jan. 10. A security wire to several display phones was cut. Nothing was stolen from the location.
Dulaney Valley Court, 900 block. 8:26 p.m. Jan. 10. Two males, one who was between 17 and 21 years old, rifled through a man's pockets but took nothing.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 6800 block. 3:51 a.m. Jan. 14. A burglar smashed a front door and window with a brick. Entry was not gained.
