Towson Crime: Woman Assaulted in Downtown Towson

Downtown Towson
York Road and Pennsylvania Avenue. Between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Jan. 20. Two women punched the victim and forced her to the ground. One slashed her clothes with a knife and told her the assault was for getting a friend locked up. The victim was treated for minor facial cuts and released from . Police said they are seeking Shandell Denise Crutchfield, 24, of the 6800 block of Parsons Ave. in Gwynn Oak who, at this time, has not been arrested, according to online court records.

Dulaney Valley Road, 800 block. Between 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Jan. 19. A 2003 Chevrolet Tracker (Maryland tag 113M269) was stolen from the parking lot outside The Fresh Market.

Wardman Road, 7100 block. 8 a.m. Jan. 14. A blue men's Raleigh touring bike and a green women's Raleigh touring bike were removed from an unlocked backyard shed.
Loch Hill
Loch Crest Road, 6400 block. Between 8:50 a.m. Jan. 10 and 6 p.m. Jan. 18. A rear basement door was found pried open and a window panel was broken, but no entry was made, police said.
Loch Raven
Loch Raven Boulevard, 8400 block. Between 6 p.m. Jan. 16 and 11:15 a.m. Jan. 17. A 32-inch television, red Nintendo Wii console, eight Wii games and speakers were reported stolen from an apartment. Police said they found no signs of forced entry.
Hillendale
Halstead Road, 1100 block. 8:30 p.m. Jan. 22. Two boys attempted to steal a woman's purse, punched her in the back, stomped on her foot, then fled. Police said they have arrested one juvenile.
Wentworth Avenue, 1800 block. Between 1 a.m. Jan. 18 and 3:10 p.m., Jan. 19. Two HVAC units were reported stolen from a home's back yard.
Coburg Court, 1800 block. 8:15 p.m. Jan. 19. Someone approached the victim from behind on foot and pressed an object, which the victim presumed was a gun, to his back. The robber stole a brown leather wallet containing $20 and identification, police said.
Fairways at Towson
Lachlan Circle, 7000 block. A gold 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis (Maryland tag A164197) was reported stolen. The owner, who was chasing after her dog, had left it running, police said.
