Towson Crime: Woman Wakes Up, Finds Intruder Touching Leg

Third Degree Burglary: unit block of Danforth Court, at 5:13 a.m., Oct. 27. A woman woke up to find someone kneeling next to her and touching her leg. The woman screamed and the intruder ran out of the apartment.

First Degree Burglary: 1400 block of Taylor Avenue, between 2:40 and 3:30 p.m., Oct. 26. A burglar broke into a home through a basement door and stole a pit bull.  

Second Degree Burglary: 1400 block of Stevenson Lane, between 9 p.m., Oct. 25 and 10:58 a.m., Oct. 26. A burglar stole two bicycles from a shed.

First Degree Burglary: 7900 block of Knollwood Road, between 5 p.m., Oct. 25 and noon, Oct. 26. A burglar broke in through a rear bedroom window and stole jewelry and jewelry boxes.

Attempted Burglary: 1300 block of Heather Hill Road, at 8:30 p.m., Oct. 25. A burglar tried to pry open a dining room window and failed.

First Degree Burglary: 600 block of Bosley Avenue, between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Oct. 25. A burglar used a rock to break a door’s glass and stole a duffle bag and coins. 

Armed Robbery: 1400 block of Dartmouth Avenue, at 5:30 p.m., Oct. 24. Three robbers, one armed with a gun, stole the victim’s wallet and keys. 

Attempted First Degree Burglary: 1900 block of Ruxton Road, between 12:25 and 12:30 a.m., Oct. 24. A burglar pried open the front door but did not get in the home.

First Degree Burglary: 300 block of Southwind Road, beteen 11:45 a.m. and 3:27 p.m., Oct. 24. A burglar forced open a side door and stole electronics, purses and credit cards.

First Degree Burglary: 6300 block of Banbury Road, between 10:30 and 11:06 a.m., Oct. 24. A burglar forced open a door and tried to rip a television off the wall. 

First Degree Burglary: unit block of Treeway Court, between 6:45 a.m. and 7 p.m., Oct. 24. A burglar entered the apartment and stole two iPads.  

First Degree Burglary: 1800 block of Aberdeen Road, between 7 and 8 p.m., Oct. 23. A victim let a man and woman into the house after they claimed to be selling energy alternatives. Then one of the burglars stole cash and credit cards from a bedroom after asking to use the restroom.

Armed Robbery: unit block of West Pennsylvania Avenue, 10:20 p.m., Oct. 21. Two men, one armed with a knife, stole money from Towson Wine and Spirits’ register.
