Towson Police Warn of BGE Imposters
Sgt. Stephen Fink urges residents to ask for identification from those who come to their homes.

Towson police are asking the community to stay alert for BGE imposters and other illegitimate solicitors.
Two residents on Copeleigh Road recently reported being solicited by men, who claimed to work for BGE, but did not produce proper identification when asked, wrote Sgt. Stephen Fink in an email.
"Please remind your family and neighbors to always request identification of anyone coming to their door requesting information or aid, if they're legitimate they'll have no problem producing it," Fink wrote.
