Two Fashion 'Pop-Up' Stores Coming To Towson This Fall

TOWSON, MD — Two women’s fashion retailers, Match Made Stores and Mint & Major, will "pop up" this fall at The Shops at Kenilworth, the shopping mall in Towson, according to Greenberg Gibbons, the retail development firm that operates the mall.

"Match Made Stores offers fashion-forward women’s apparel and accessories, trendy giftables and more," says Greenberg Gibbons in a press release. Its temporary outlet will be open from Thursday, Sept. 5, through Dec. 31 on the mall's lower level between Jos. A Bank and Wilkes & Riley.

Match Made Stores opened its first storefront in 2017 on the Avenue in Hampden, in Baltimore. The fashion retailer will celebrate its opening in The Shops at Kenilworth with complimentary refreshments and Smanicures from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

"Mint & Major offers a high-quality, curated mix of women’s clothing, beauty products, jewelry and home décor," says Greenberg Gibbons.

The online retailer, known for its local pop-up events, will operate its temporary store from Sept. 12 through Dec. 31 on the mall's upper level, between Forward Moda and Urban Threads.

To celebrate its opening in the mall, Mint & Major is hosting a launch party on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cocktails and light bites will be served and the first 25 guests to arrive will receive a swag bag.

The Shops at Kenilworth offers a mix of retailers and restaurants, including Trader Joe’s, South Moon Under, Quiet Storm Surf Shop, Radcliffe Jewelers, About Faces Day Spa & Salon, Stebbins Anderson, Ruth Shaw, Atwaters and Italian Gardens.
