At Cromwell, a Global Partnership School, every class has at least one partner class somewhere. The classes use tools like Skype and Edmodo (think an educational version of Facebook) to connect with their friends.
In Flo Falatko's class on Thursday, students recited collaborative poems via webcam with partners at the Kamehameha School in Hawaii.

Falatko said the project helps to teach students teamwork, creativity, safe and productive use of communication tools and got them a classroom of new friends five time zones away.
