WMAR-TV Launches Annual Toy Drive

The Rodgers Forge-based broadcaster is holding the 13th Kindertime Toy Drive.

One toy and a few moments of your time could make life a little better for the children of fallen firefighters and police officers.

, based near Rodgers Forge on York Road, is sponsoring the 13th annual Kindertime Toy Drive.

Between now and Dec. 20, you can drop off new, unwrapped toys at fire stations, Celebree Learning Center locations and Walmart stores in the Baltimore area. Donations will also be accepted until Dec. 21 at the station's York Road studios.

In the last 12 years, the drive has collected more than 350,000 toys for area children.

On Dec. 22, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., the station will distribute the toys and emergency vehicles will drive away from the station to take the presents to their final destinations under Christmas trees across the Baltimore area.
