Woman Fatally Shot In Nottingham Targeted Attack: Police

A woman was fatally shot in Nottingham, police said. Detectives think it was a targeted attack.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — A woman was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in Nottingham, police said.

Officers have not yet released the victim's name.

Authorities think this was a targeted attack. Detectives did not mention a potential motive.

Police from the Parkville Precinct said they were called to the Unit Block of Whitelaw Place around 3 p.m. That's located in the ReNew White Marsh apartment complex off Maryland Route 43.

Officers said they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Baltimore County Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead on the scene, authorities said.

The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-307-2020. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with police.

The Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest on felony charges.
