Bark &amp; Sip is more than just a dog-friendly bar—it’s a vibrant community space where the people (and pups!) of Prince George’s County can sip, sit, and stay. Founded by hospitality professional Anthony Williams, Bark &amp; Sip is the first of its kind in Upper Marlboro, MD—a safe, joyful gathering spot for dog lovers, families, and neighbors. We’ll offer: A cozy indoor/outdoor bar featuring local drinks Dog-safe treats and water stations Weekly events like breed meetups, pet adoption days, and local artist nights A welcoming space for all ages (and breeds!) A one-mile portion of Queens Chapel Road will be under construction for an enhancement project in Prince George's County.In order to improve safety and traveling for the 23,550 vehicles that take the highway every day, the State Highway Administration contracted Ardent Company for the revitalization along MD 500 in Hyattsville.Not only will intersection operations be upgraded, but bicycle lanes and a landscaped median will be added from Hamilton Street to East West Highway.The crew is able to work by the curb and gutters 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.While there is not an exact date for the beginning of the project, the renovation completion is projected for late fall 2016.<a href="https://www.facebook.com/MarylandStateHighwayAdministration" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">For more information visit the Maryland State Highway Administration's Facebook.</a>Image via Shutterstock
