Maryland Plein Air Artists on Display in Gallery 90

Paint Annapolis participants bring outdoors in at Hospice of the Chesapeake.

A new exhibit by the Maryland Federation of Art is now in place at Hospice of the Chesapeake’s Gallery 90; the art gallery located throughout the nonprofit’s administrative building on the John & Cathy Belcher Campus at 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD.

This limited showing will be on display until July 22, and features the work of Maryland artists Alison Barry, David Diaz and Ken Karlic. Each are participating in this year’s Paint Annapolis, an annual plein air painting competition hosted by the MFA with events taking place through June 12. It is the first of many plein air painting events in Maryland this summer.

To realize the vision of creating a harmonious work environment for Hospice of the Chesapeake administrative staff and visiting nurses, caregivers and volunteers who work directly with patients and their families, the MFA and Hospice of the Chesapeake formed a partnership. The art on display also is for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting both organizations.
