Prince George's County Resident Competes on 'The Price Is Right'

Tune in as an Upper Marlboro resident appears on the game show Dec. 16.

Come on down… and cheer on a fellow Prince George’s County contestant on The Price Is Right!

Airing at 11 a.m. Dec. 16 on CBS, the longest-running game show will feature Temitope Oriola, 32, of Upper Marlboro compete for the grand prize.

When Oriola found out she was going to accompany her sister to California for a conference, she went online to get tickets and snagged a pair for Dec. 8.

No stranger to the game show, Oriola told Patch “My family and I watch The Price Is Right all of the time!”

Before being seated, each attendee was interviewed. They were asked random questions about themselves and had to pose for a “crazy” picture. Oriola was among the chosen contestants.

During the taping when it was Oriola’s turn, she was a little distracted. “I didn’t even notice that they called my name… my sister had to tell me!” she said.
