• Building the Future of Agriculture at the FFA Convention (uhshawkeye.com) — Urbana students played an active role at this year’s National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, volunteering, competing, and even presenting on the national stage. Four local members were featured in the SpeakAg video showcase, and student Calie Bloomfield earned the prestigious American FFA degree. Their trip mixed service projects, contests, and career exploration that highlight how engaged Urbana’s young agricultural leaders are becoming.
