Health Officials Looking for Dog that Bit Person Near Hook Rd
Health officials want to verify the dog is in good health.

The Carroll County Health Department is asking residents for help in finding a dog that bit a person at the intersection of Hook Road and Singer Drive in Westminster on July 31, according to a health department news release.
The dog was described as being a large pit-bull breed and having a multi-shaded brown coat. According to the Health Department, the victim of the attack will have to be treated with a series of expensive post-exposure rabies shots unless the dog is found and verified to be in good health by the morning of Aug. 9.
