1.) AROUND TOWN » Tonight is National Night Out and neighborhoods throughout Carroll County are celebrating with block parties. Enjoy your neighbors and get to know your local law enforcement officials. Take some pics and share them on Patch!
2.) YOU SAID IT » Hungry for some Greene Turtle grub today? From 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 10 percent of sales will be donated to Dads Works, a local nonprofit helping dads be great. Details can be found in this events posting.
3.) ICYMI » Carroll County Commissioner Robin Frazier's husband, Donald, was injured in a car accident Sunday night. He remains at Shock Trauma. The driver of the other vehicle in the collision died of injuries sustained in the accident. Read about the accident here.

4.) WEATHER » Get ready for the first of several days of showers. A stormy day will be bookended by showers.
