Looking for a fun activity for your child this summer? Look no further than your local library! Patch picked a few of the best events for children at Westminster Branch Library. Our favorites, compiled from Westminster Library, are listed below:

Mud Pies
July 5 at 10 a.m.

For ages 3 - 11. Let's get down and dirty and play in the "mud". Creative play will include print-making, sculpting, and lots of hands-on fun. Children age 3 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Pirate Parrrty!
July 12 at 10 a.m.

For ages 3 - 11. Ahoy mateys! Let's set sail for some fun on the high seas. Thar be crafts, games, and stories! Children age 3 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Only kids need to register. Registration begins June 28. Call 410.386.4488 for more information.

Mr. Jon's Summertime Kid's Concert
July 13 at 10 a.m.

For all ages. Come on out to see Mr. Jon in concert! Silliness and songs for everyone! Mr. Jon and his guitar will get your hands clapping and your feet dancing in this show that's fun for the whole family! Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Bubble Show
July 26 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

For all ages. Margie Lynch, aka The Bubble Lady, presents an interactive bubble-filled show for children of all ages. Among the highlights of the show are: gigantic bubbles (up to 5 feet in diameter), long bubbles (up to 18 feet long), and smoke bubbles (made with dry ice and hot water). Ballet Party
August 9 at 11 a.m.

For ages 3 - 11. Put on your favorite tutu and dance on over for ballet fun! Teacher Nancy Jenks will teach us some ballet steps as part of this celebration of dance. Making ballerina crafts will round out the fun! Children age 3 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Only kids need to register. Registration begins July 26.
