Mankita, whose touring van runs on recycled vegetable oil, will perform shows at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Children can participate in activities and crafts throughout the event, and there will be a story time every hour starting at 11:30 a.m. The free event is sponsored by Friends of Brookside Gardens.
