Five Finds from the Montgomery County Fall Recreational Guide

The Montgomery County Recreation department releases its fall guide to programs and events .

August is halfway over, and fall is just around the corner.

Patch has pulled five Wheaton-centric events and programs from the Montgomery County Fall Recreational Guide, which was released earlier this week.

  1. is hosting a Pooch Pool Party on Sept. 8 and 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your canine friends! ($10 each)
  2. The will present a Fall Harvest Fest on Nov. 3, from 3-6 p.m.
  3. Is your child a budding artist? Sign him or her up for a "Cartooning with Young Rembrandts" class at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center this October. (See page 41 in the guide.)
  4. Interested in some soul line dancing? The Wheaton Community Recreation Center offers classes in September. (See page 49 in the guide.)
  5. Inspired by the Olympics? Take a boxing boot camp in September, also at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center. (See page 59 in the guide.)
