Hurricane Sandy Closes Wheaton Train and Carousel

Rides on the Halloween-themed train and carousel have been canceled for the rest of the season.

Hurricane Sandy brought an untimely end to the Halloween-themed train and carousel at Wheaton Regional Park.

Due to damage from the storm, rides on the 'Haunted Train' and 'Creepy Carousel' have been canceled for the rest of the season, according to an update on the Wheaton Train and Carousel Facebook page.

Anyone who had booked train rides for Tuesday or Wednesday should have their money returned to their ParkPASS account, according to the Facebook update.
