WHEATON, MD — Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing teenager.Candice Armony Malachi, 14, of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton, did not return home from school Wednesday and has not contacted her family regarding her whereabouts, police said. She is known to frequent the Aspen Hill area and Gaithersburg. Police and family are concerned for Candice Malachi's welfare. Malachi is described by police as a black female, 5'05" and weighs about 120 pounds. She has long, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a red, full-length Helly Hansen coat, and red Vans sneakers.Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Candice Malachi is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department's non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
