Montgomery County Back-To-School Fair Coming To Westfield Wheaton

WHEATON, MD — Montgomery County Public Schools is holding a Back-to-School Fair on Aug. 26 at Westfield Wheaton mall, where families can learn about the school system and enjoy family-friendly activities.

The back-to-school fair will take place two days before students in Montgomery County are scheduled to report back to school on Monday, Aug. 28.

Along with learning about the school system, Montgomery County agencies will be there to offer information about their programs and services. Music, giveaways and youth activities, along with a free immunization clinic, will also be a part of the back-to-school fair.

The event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Westfield Wheaton, located at 11160 Viers Mill Road in Wheaton.

MCPS will offer free shuttles to the back-to-school fair from these high schools:

• Montgomery Blair High School, 51 University Blvd E, Silver Spring, MD 20901
• Paint Branch High School, 14121 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD 20866
• Gaithersburg High School, 101 Education Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD 20877
• Richard Montgomery High School, 250 Richard Montgomery Drive, Rockville, MD 20852

The first shuttle will depart from the high schools at 9 a.m. and the last shuttle will leave from Westfield Wheaton at 2 p.m.
