Pedestrian Struck By Metro Bus At Wheaton Stop, Officials Say
A pedestrian was struck by a bus at the Wheaton Metro bus stop at about 7 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.

WHEATON, MD — A pedestrian was struck by a bus at the Wheaton Metro bus stop Tuesday evening, officials report.
The incident happened at around 7 p.m. at the bus stop in the 11100 block of Georgia Ave., near Reedie Drive.
The bus was turning around at the stop when it hit the unidentified pedestrian, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.
