Westfield Wheaton To Host Boo Bash Celebration, Boo!sterama Event

WHEATON, MD — Westfield Wheaton is hosting its annual Boo Bash in the lower-level Macy’s Court and a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic on the second floor on Saturday.

The family-friendly Boo Bash event, from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 will have a variety of Halloween and fall-themed activities, including pumpkin decorating, a costume contest, storytime and dance party with Learning With GoGo.

Also on Saturday, Montgomery County, in partnership with Salud y Bienestar, will host Boo!sterama, a free vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the kiosk on the second floor of Westfield Wheaton near Carter’s.

Mall visitors five and older can get a Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 booster shot and enter to win a $50 Westfield Wheaton Visa gift card. The event is walk-up only and the shots will be offered on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last.

“Our Boo Bash and Boo!sterama are two events not to miss here at Westfield Wheaton,” Stuart Amos, senior general manager of Westfield Wheaton, said in a statement Tuesday. “We are honored to host Boo!sterama with Montgomery County and Salud y Bienestar to continue to protect our community during this upcoming holiday season.”
