10 MA Communities Named Safest, Richest In U.S.: Study

Massachusetts claimed spots high up on a list of the safest and richest towns and cities in the country, according to a new study.

Ten communities in Massachusetts have been named among the "safest and richest" places to live in the country. The study from GOBankingRates examined data for 1,000 cities with the highest household incomes.

Other data the study considered included average home values, annual cost of living, and property and violent crime rates.

The top place in the country again was Western Springs, Illinois.
